Dr. Andrew DaCunha (“Dr. Drew”) was born in June 1980 and raised in the small town of Brookfield, Ct. His first exposure to the clinical side of dentistry was during his enlistment in the United States Air Force in 2002. Following his Honorable discharge from the military, Dr. Drew moved to Jacksonville, FL and enrolled in the University of North Florida College of Biology. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Dr. Drew attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry’s 38th graduating class.
His first associate position brought him to a private practice in Winter Park, FL. Shortly after he began working at an emergency extraction clinic and then at the Orlando VA Medical Center. During his time with veterans, Dr. Drew was exposed to cutting-edge evidence-based dentistry. He gained extensive experience with all types of general dental procedures, as well as advanced education on dental implants and grafting techniques. Along the way, he developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and smile design. After many hours of continuing education and practice, Dr. Drew has honed his skills recreating smiles: from minimal prep aesthetic veneers to full mouth rehabilitation. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Drew honors his Air Force core values by providing his patients with integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all he does.
